Soy Steak w/ Caramelized onions

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of Soy Sauce (you can use low sodium)
  • 1 tbls white vinegar
  • 1 tbls granulated sugar
  • 3 tbls olive oil
  • 1 medium white onion (sliced into rings)
  • filet or flank steaks

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large ziplock bag.

  2. Marinate no longer than 30 minute or else it will be too salty!!

  3. Remove steak from bag and prepare grill/broiler.

  4. Dump the contents of the remaining marinade (onions, juice, etc.) in a medium saucepan and bring to a soft boil (med/high) and then simmer on (med/low). Continue to let simmer while you are cooking your steaks as usual.

  5. Once steaks are done, top with Carmelized onions/juice from stove.
