Italian Sausage and Ziti Skillet Dinner

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 cups small ziti pasta
  • 2 medium zucchini, diced
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh basil
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cook sausage, onion, and bell peppers over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until sausage loses its pink color and vegetables are tender. Stir in soup and water; bring to a boil, stirring until smooth.
  2. Stir in pasta and zucchini, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 25 minutes or until pasta is cooked and zucchini in tender. Stir occasionally to separate pasta. Remove from heat and stir in basil and pepper. Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle servings with Parmesan cheese.
