Pan-Fried Pork Chops

(from castro15’s recipe box)

Categories: Pork

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 thin bone-in pork chops
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Combine the flour, kosher salt, pepper, seasoned salt and garlic powder in a shallow pan, and whisk it together.

  2. Sprinkle both sides of the chops with salt and pepper. Then lay them one by one in the flour mixture, turning them over to dredge them. Keep going until all the chops are coated in flour.

  3. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then fry the chops in batches until they’re golden on both sides and cooked through, about 2 minutes per side.

  4. Remove them to a plate line with paper towel to remove the excess grease. Serve.
