Sauteed Brussel Sprouts with Poppy Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. Brussels Sprouts, trimmed
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 large shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds

Directions

  1. Using a knife, a mandolin or a food processor
  2. fitted with a slicing disc, thinly slice Brussels sprouts.

  3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add shallot and cook, stirring often, until it begins to soften, 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add Brussels sprouts, salt and pepper to skillet. Cook, tossing often, until Brussels sprouts are tender, 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vinegar and poppy seeds.
