Savory Apricot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 CURE 81 Ham
  • 1 (17 oz.) can apricot halves in syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. butter (optional)

Directions

  1. Prepare ham according to package label directions.
  2. In blender or food processor, blend canned apricots, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and garlic until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into medium saucepan; add dried apricots. Bring mixture to boil, stirring and cook until thickened (2 minutes). Remove from heat; stir in butter.
  4. Pour sauce into serving bowl to spoon over ham slices.
