Spicy Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbs. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 beef flank steak 91 to 1 1/2 lb.)

Directions

  1. In a small bow, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder and celery salt; cover and refrigerate until serving. Combine the chili sauce, lime juice, pepper flakes and salt; brush on one side of steak.
  2. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 7-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145 degrees; medium 160 degrees). Let stand for 3-5 minutes. Cut across the grain into 1/4 inch strips. Serve.
