Asian Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 lbs boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 18 French dinner rolls, split and warmed
  • Optional toppings: carrot, jalapeno and cilantro

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk the first 7 ingredients until blended. Place roast in slow cooker. Pour sauce mixture over top. Cook, covered, on LOW 7-9 hours.

  2. Remove roast; cool slightly. Skim fat from cooking juices. Shred pork with two forks. Return pork to slow cooker; heat through. Serve pork on rolls, adding toppings as desired.
