Albuquerque Turkey Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (about 1 lb.) Louis Rich Fresh Turkey Breast Tenderloin Steaks
  • 1 lime, cut into 6 wedges
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 1 green or red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 8 flour tortillas (7-inch), warmed
  • Salsa (optional)
  • Sour half-and-half (optional)

Directions

  1. Cut turkey into thin strips, place in a bowl. Squeeze 1 lime wedge over turkey; sprinkle with garlic salt, chili powder and black pepper.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in nonstick skillet on medium-high. Add onion and green pepper. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp. Remove vegetables from skillet.
  3. Heat remaining oil in same skillet. Add turkey. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink. Squeeze another lime wedge over turkey.
  4. To assemble: place turkey and green pepper mixture in warm tortillas. Serve with remaining lime wedges, if desired. , salsa and sour half-and-half
