Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 4 qt. popped corn
  • 1 1/4 c white sugar
  • 2/3 c corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2/3 c margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Spread popped corn on 9 × 13 pan.

  2. Heat and stir together sugar, butter, and corn syrup.

  3. Cook over medium until mix boils.

  4. Continue cooking 5 minutes without stirring.

  5. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and soda.

  6. Pour over popcorn to coat.

  7. Bake uncovered 1 hour – stir every 15 minutes.

  8. Cool and break apart.
