Sliders

Prep time: 60 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1.5lb 85/15 ground beef (2lbs is very meaty)
  • 2 - 1/4" sliced then chopped onion rings, sweet Vidalia
  • 2 tbsp mayonaise
  • 1 tbsp worchestire sauce
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 12 slider type rolls (kings hawaiin optional)
  • Optional Pickle slices

Directions

  1. 1) Mix ground beef, onion soup mix, and woo sauce in a bowl, mix again, mix very well.

  2. 2) On a cookie sheet lined with foil, place the ball in the center and flatten into a rectangle matching the dimensions of the packaged ROLLS, exceeding by 1+" on all sides (shrinkage).

  3. 3) Place chopped onions on the large meat rectangle and spread, then gently press in.

  4. 4) Bake @ 350 for 15 min.

  5. 5) With pizza wheel, slice in 1/2 or to suite your roll pattern. Whatever you and your spatula can handle, you’ll need to transfer.

  6. 6) Place sliced cheeses as desired.

  7. 7) Slather bottom buns with Mayo, then place into pan coated baking dish (snug fit is best but not mandatory).

  8. 8) Place meat patty w/cheese on the bottom buns. Then Place TOP buns, covered with foil.

  9. 9) Bake @ 350 for 5 min, remove and let stand.
