Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground chipotle pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 9 cups torn romaine
  • Optional toppings: avocado, cheddar cheese, tomato, green onions, and ranch salad dressing

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix seasonings; rub over chicken. Place in slow cook. Add broth. Cook, covered, on LOW 3-4 hours.

  2. Remove chicken; cool slightly. Shred. Serve on romaine with toppings.
