Almond Vanilla Custard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a 2 cup measure, mix well. Microwave on medium power for 4-7 minutes or until thickened. Stir with whisk after 2 minutes and every minute thereafter. Stir well; cover and chill. Serve over pound cake or fruit.
