Ambrosia Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 11 oz. can mandarin oranges with juice
  • Frosting:
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 9 oz. container Cool Whip
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Cut oranges in small pieces and mix with cake mix, eggs and oil. Put into 3 round pans and bake for 35 minutes.
  2. Frosting:

  3. Whip cream; add Cool Whip, pudding mix, pineapple, coconut and vanilla. Frost the cake layers; stack together and store in refrigerator for 3 days before serving.
