Angel Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Place flour. baking powder, sugar, butter, eggs milk and extracts in Cuisinart. Blend until smooth. Pour into tube pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray then coated with sugar.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes then then invert onto a platter. Cake will release from pan.
  3. Conventional Method: Combine butter and sugar. Mix well. Add eggs, mix well. Combine flour and powder. Add to mixture alternately with milk. Add extracts. Mix well. Pour in tube pan sprayed with Pam and coated with sugar.
