Blue Cheese Fritters Recipe

Ingredients

  • 13.5 oz Flour
  • 5 oz Bread Crumbs
  • 2 oz Chives, fine diced
  • 4 oz Corn Starch
  • 1.5 oz Baking Powder
  • 4 Cups Beer
  • 1 t Black Pepper, fresh ground
  • 20 oz Rogue River Blue Cheese

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl add the following ingredients: flour, bread Crumb, baking powder, cornstarch, chop chives, salt, pepper and gently stir in beer and mix well.
  2. Refrigerate fritter batter over night.
  3. Divide blue Cheese into small 1/2 oz pc. and roll into balls and refrigerate until needed.
  4. Dip the cheese into the batter until coated all over.
  5. Carefully drop the fritter into the deep fryer and cook for about 1 minute.
  6. Cook evenly on all sides then with a spoon transfer to the paper towel to drain.
