Sweet and Sour Meat Slices

I liked it. Can use fresh meat too

Ingredients

  • 1 pound leftover beef or pork roast (or fresh meat)
  • 2 TBS flour
  • 2 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • can add 1 tsp grated onion, 2 tsp drained horseradish ( I don't use these)

Directions

  1. Cut meat into 1/4 slices; roll in flour; Brown lightly in heavy fry pan.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat.

  3. Cover; cook over low heat 15-20 minutes

  4. four servings
