Herbed Salmon Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 salmon steaks, 3/4 inch thick (3/4 pound)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Paprika, if desired
  • Lemon wedge, if desired
  • Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400ºF. Heat butter and lemon juice in square pan, 8×8×2 inches, in oven until butter is melted. Place salmon in pan; turn to coat both sides with lemon mixture. Sprinkle with onion salt, thyme and pepper.

  2. Bake uncovered 25 to 35 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with fork. Sprinkle with paprika; serve with lemon wedges and parsley.
