Apple Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 (21 oz.) can apple fruit filling
  • 2 pkg. (1 lb. 3 oz. each) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. confectioners' sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. milk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a 10 inch tube pan.

  2. In food processor, chop fruit filling by pulsing several times.

  3. Flatten each biscuit into a 5-6 inch circle. Spoon about 2 Tbsp. fruit filling onto each biscuit and seal edges to form a ball.

  4. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.

  5. Roll each biscuit ball in sugar mixture.

  6. Place biscuit balls in tube pan in 2 rings and sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture.

  7. Bake for 55 minutes, covering biscuits with foil after 20 minutes of baking time.

  8. Cool on wire rack 5 minutes; loosen biscuits from edge of pan and remove from pan.

  9. In a small bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar and milk; blend well. Drizzle over warm biscuits. Serve.
