A.1. Texas Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round or chick steak, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans peeled tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup A.1. Steak Sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup chili powder

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, over medium-high heart, brown steak, in batches, in margarine. Add onion; cook until tender. Add tomatoes with liquid, steak sauce and chili powder. Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, 15 minutes to 1 hour, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
