Creme de menthe squares

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1 C sugar
  • Cream together
  • Beat in 4 eggs, one at a time
  • Add:
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 C hersheys syrup
  • Press this layer in ungreased
  • 9X13
  • Bake 350 deg for 1/2 hour
  • 2nd layer
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 2 C conf sugar
  • 2 T crème de menthe
  • Mix and spread over cooled bottom layer
  • Refrigerate for a while
  • 3rd layer
  • 1-6 oz pkg choc chips
  • 6 T butter
  • Melt together and pour onto cake
