Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 C flour
- 1 C sugar
- 3/4 C milk
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 6-7 peaches ripe but not bruised. Fruit mixed with up to 1/2c sugar
Directions

Melt butter in 8 or 9 inch casserole going to cook cobbler in. No larger diameter casserole or dish.

Only melt butter and take out oven. Don’t want it to cook or burn

In separate bowl Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and add milk

Then:

Pour into butter BUT DO NOT STIR TOGETHER

Add sweetened fruit. DO NOT STIR
