Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3 C sugar
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 3 C all purpose flour
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla

Directions

  1. oven 325 deg

  2. Grease and flour tube pan

  3. Cream butter and sugar together, add sour crea.

  4. Sift flour ad baking soda together

  5. Add to creamed butter and sugar ALTERNATELY the flour and eggs-ONE EGG AT A TIME, beating well in-between

  6. Add vanilla

  7. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes

  8. Can frost, using almond and vanilla extract if desired
