Egg Casserole/overnight

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 12 slices firm bread
  • 2 t of 1/2 and 1/2
  • 1 t dry mustard
  • 1 C milk
  • pepper
  • 12 oz sharp cheddar PLUS 2 oz for topping
  • 6 oz ham or bacon

Directions

  1. Butter dish 9X13

  2. Bread, then cheese and ham, whip eggs, milk, cream, mustard, pepper together

  3. Pour over bottom layer

  4. Top with remaining cheese

  5. Can refrigerate overnight

  6. Bake 350 covered until set-about 35-40 min

  7. Bake 350 degrees for 40 or so minutes or until egg mixture is set
