Chicken and Couscous

Chicken with gravy. Serve over couscous.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 lb. chicken
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 3/4 c. couscous

Directions

  1. Cube raw chicken and dredge in flour/salt/pepper mixture.

  2. Heat oil.

  3. Add chicken to oil and fry for a minute or so. Gradually stir in water and milk.

  4. Simmer in gravy for several minutes.

  5. Serve over cooked couscous (or rice).
