Bing Cherry Congealed Salad

  • 1-16 oz can pitted bing cherries, drained and save juice
  • 1-15 oz can crushed pineapple, drained and save juice
  • 1 large pkg cherry jello
  • 1 small pkg cream cheese-room temperature
  • 6 oz cola
  • 1 C chopped nuts


  1. In saucepan, add combined cherry juice, pineapple juice plus water to equal 1 C

  2. Bring to a boil and add gelatin and whisk together

  3. Remove from heat and put in dish

  4. After slightly set (about 1 hour) add cream cheese and blend until smooth

  5. Add cola and beat until mixture becomes fluffy

  6. Fold in cherries, pineapple and nuts

  7. Chill 6-8 hours
