Wedding Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cooked, shredded
  • Save water, chicken boiled in, for broth
  • Add sautéed
  • Carrot bits, onion, small diced celery
  • Add diced greens-spinach,endive, etc
  • Italian meatballs- tiny:
  • meat, italian bread crumbs, 1 egg, garlic parsley, etc-that have been baked in oven about 15 minutes
  • 1 C pristine (1/2 box) OR
  • Fried dough-see below

Directions

  1. Fried dough

  2. 2 eggs

  3. 1-2 C flour

  4. 1/2 t baking powderSalt-pinch

  5. Knead until smooth

  6. Chop into marble size

  7. Fry lightly

  8. Add to broth
