Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 c margarine (or butter), softened
- 1/4 c shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c multicolored candy sprinkles
Directions

IN large bowl, combine sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs. Beat well.

Add

flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in candy sprinkles.

Cover dough and chill at least one hour.

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

On lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/3 at a time to 1/8 in thickness; cut into shapes.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes.

Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.

Using cream cheese frosting colored with food coloring, sandwich the cookies together.
