Creamy Fennel Salad Dressing with Romaine and Cucumbers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 4 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp minced fresh garlic
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp fennel seeds, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 bags Romaine lettuce
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup purchased croutons

Directions

  1. Whisk together mayo, sour cream, buttermilk, parsley, vinegar, garlic, Italian seasoning, and fennel seeds; season with salt and pepper. Cover dressing and chill at least 2 hours before serving.

  2. Toss together romaine, cucumber, and croutons; drizzle with dressing.
