Ingredients

  • 1 lb. frozen crinkle-cut fries
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 large shallot, chopped
  • 2 tsp thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup beef demi-glace
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire
  • 8 oz. cheese curds

Directions

  1. Bake fries as directed. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add shallot and thyme; cook until tender, 4 minutes. Sprinkle in flour; cook, whisking, until lightly browned, 5 minutes. Whisk in water and beef demi-glace and Worcestershire. Simmer until thickened, 3-4 minutes. Pour over the fries and top with cheese curds. Bake at 400 until the cheese softens, 5 minutes.
