Corn & Crab Brisque

Also served in a bread bowl. Very great appetizer to a special dinner.

Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 Med onion chopped
  • 2 - 10oz boxes of frozen creamed corn
  • 1 lb of crab meat
  • 1 pint of half and half
  • 1 pint of regular milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • (garnish with fresh parsley or chives)

Directions

  1. Saute the chopped onion in the butter. When transparent add the creamed corn and saute just a few minutes more. Add the crab meat, half & half, regular milk and salt and pepper. Simmer on the stove until heated through.
