Low-Cal Apple Graham Cracker Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz.) Lucky Leaf Lite apple Pie filling
  • 1 tsp. apple pie spice
  • 2/3 cup Splenda
  • 2 Tbsp. reduced calorie margarine
  • 2 eggs or egg substitute equivalent
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup reduced-calorie whipped topping

Directions

  1. Combine pie filling with apple pie spice, set aside.

  2. Combine Splenda and margarine. Stir in eggs. Mix in graham cracker crumbs, milk, baking powder, vanilla and salt.

  3. Spread half of the mixture in 9 × 9 inch cake pan, coated with butter-flavored non-stick cooking spray. Spoon half of pie filling over top. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with nuts.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Let cool on rack for 10 minutes. Garnish each of 8 servings with 2 Tbsp. whipped topping.
