Red-Hot Pita Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp Dijon
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • 3 pita bread rounds, halved horizontally

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients except pita rounds. Brush cut surfaces of bread with the spice mixture. Cut each into 8 wedges. Place wedges, spice sides up, on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until crisp. Cool on baking sheet.
