Asparagus with Hot Wine Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus spears
  • Hot Wine Mayonnaise:
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1/4 cup Sauterne
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise

Directions

  1. Cook asparagus spears according to package directions. Drain thoroughly. Place warm asparagus in flat serving dish, and top with Hot Wine Mayonnaise.

  2. Hot Wine Mayonnaise:

  3. Combine onion and wine; let stand 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Heat over hot, but not boiling, water.
