Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped and divided
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. Velveeta
  • 1 tbsp. ground mustard
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar
  • 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 32 oz. pkg. frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped dill pickles

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef and 1 cup of the onion, crumbling meat, until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender, 6-8 minutes. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, Velveeta, mustard and Worcestershire until cheese is melted, 4-6 minutes.

  2. Transfer to a greased 13×9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with Cheddar and bacon. Top with Tater Tots. Bake, uncovered, 35-40 minutes or until bubbly. Top with tomato, pickles and remaining onion.
