Autumn Morning Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 2 Tbsp. Grand Marnier
  • 1 box (18.25 oz.) spice cake mix
  • 1/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. The day before baking, combine raisins and Grand Marnier in a small bowl and stir to distribute liqueur. Cover with airtight lid and set aside for 24 hours.

  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  3. Drain raisins.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, nuts and drained raisins.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine eggs and oil. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
