Avocado Crema

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Hass avocados, peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1/4 cup water, plus more if needed
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • Kosher salt and pepper

Directions

  1. In blender, combine avocados, lime juice, honey, and water; puree until smooth (if necessary, add 1 to 2 Tbsp. of water to loosen mixture for pureeing).

  2. Add cilantro, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper; puree just until incorporated.

  3. Serve immediately.
