Bacon- Cheese Puffs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 5 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 12 cubes Cheddar cheese (from a 6 oz. package)

Directions

  1. Combine biscuit mix and crumbled bacon in a medium-size bowl; add milk and egg; prepare, following label directions for muffins.

  2. Spoon into 12 greased medium-size muffin-pan cups. Make a hollow in each with a spoon; press a cheese cube deep into hollow.

  3. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) 15 minutes, or until golden. Serve hot.
