Bacon- Pimento Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. smoked cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or to taste
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • Pinch ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked drained and crumbled

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

  2. This basic recipe can be made without the bacon, for plain pimento cheese. Or mix any other cooked meat you like with the cheese.
