Ingredients

  • 2 4 1/2 oz. rounds Brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blur cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 sheets frozen phyllo dough (18 x14 inch rectangles), thawed and halved crosswise
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted

Directions

  1. Slice both round of Brie in half horizontally. Place half of the blue cheese and 2 Tbsp. of the walnuts over cut side of bottom half of each Brie.

  2. Brush each half-sheet of phyllo dough with some melted margarine or butter. Place one of the Brie rounds in center of each of the phyllo sheets. (cover remaining phyllo sheets with a damp cloth to prevent drying while you work). Wrap phyllo around the Brie. Turn cheese rounds over.

  3. Repeat brushing and wrapping with 3 more half-sheets for each cheese round, turning cheese over after wrapping with each sheet of phyllo. Brush the wrapped cheese with melted margarine or butter. Sprinkle both Brie round with remaining walnuts, if desired, cover and chill. (If desired, you work with one Brie round at a time , and be sure to cover the phyllo sheets with moist towel as you work).

  4. To serve, place in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 425 degrees oven about 10 minutes or till golden. Serve at once.
