Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer, cut up
  • 1 cup Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Corn Meal Mix
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine corn meal mix and spices. Coat chicken in mixture, dip in milk. Coat again in corn meal mixture. Place chicken on rack in shallow pan. Drizzle melted butter over chicken. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
