Sausage Bread

Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 1/3 tbs margarine/butter
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. yeast
  • Filling:
  • 1 lb rolled pork sausage (flavored is good)
  • 1 1-1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
  • Garlic Salt
  • 1 Egg

Directions

  1. Make bread dough according to instructions for your bread maker

  2. Fry pork sausage, chopping up as cooking & drain greese

  3. Roll out dough on a floured cupboard in long loaf shape

  4. Spread out cooked sausage on dough

  5. Cover with cheese and spinach as desired

  6. Wrap dough up in a loaf shape, turn over and put on greased cookie sheet

  7. Whip 1 egg white and spread over top of loaf and sprinkle with garlic salt as desired

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

  9. Let cool 5 minutes before serving
