Baked Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 18 (2 to 3 oz.) lamb rib chops
  • 1 (1 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 cup mild salsa
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Combine flour, salt and pepper.

  3. Place a 28 × 18 inch piece of heavy-duty foil and place in a 9 × 13 inch baking dish. Place chops in dish in a single layer chops in dish in a single layer and sprinkle evenly with flour mixture.

  4. Top with soup mix, bell pepper, mushrooms, salsa and Worcestershire sauce. Double- fold top and ends of foil, leaving enough room for air circulation.

  5. Bake 45 minutes. Open packet away from your face. Serve immediately.
