Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 loin pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • flour
  • 3 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 3 sliced onions
  • 1 can vegetable soup
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper; flour lightly. Brown on both sides in hot fat.

  2. Arrange potatoes and onions in layers in a greased baking dish, seasoning each layer with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Place brown chops over top.

  3. Pour in mixed soup and water. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Bake, covered, at350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Uncover, let brown for a few minutes longer.
