Banana- Nut Pull Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 to 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 3 (12 oz.) tubes refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • Ground cinnamon to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 12-cup Bundt pan with butter or nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

  2. Combine brown sugar, nuts and sliced bananas in a small bowl. Stir in butter. Spoon half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared Bundt pan; set aside.

  3. Remove biscuits from packaging and cut each biscuit in half. Place biscuit pieces in a large bowl.

  4. In separate small bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to taste. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over cut biscuits and toss well to coat.

  5. Arrange half of the biscuits over brown sugar-banana mixture in Bundt pan. Spoon remaining brown sugar-banana mixture over biscuits, then top with remaining biscuits.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until browned. Invert pan onto a serving plate to unmold. Serve warm.
