Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups (12oz. bag) peanut butter chips

Directions

  1. Cream butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla mixture until light and fluffy.

  2. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

  3. Add to creamed mixture.

  4. Stir in peanut butter chips.

  5. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet, or chill until firm enough to handle and shape into 1-inch balls.

  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

  8. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet onto wire rack.

  9. Makes about 5 dozen 2 ½ inch cookies.
