Bar Nuts

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups roasted, salted peanuts
  • 1 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

Directions

  1. In a 12-inch skillet, cook bacon on medium heat until browned and crisp, stirring frequently, about 8 minutes. Drain, discarding fat.

  2. Return bacon to skillet and add the peanuts, sugar and cayenne; stir to combine. Cook on medium heat, stirring, until nuts are lightly browned, about 2 minutes.

  3. makes about 2 1/2 cups
