Barbecued Deer Steaks

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. deer steaks
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • Flour
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Directions

  1. Cut deer steak into serving pieces and season with salt and pepper. Dredge with flour and brown in butter in skillet.

  2. Layer the steaks, onion and barbecue sauce in a casserole until all ingredients are used. Pour wine over top and cover casserole.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
