Barbecued Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops
  • Garlic salt
  • Pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. current jelly
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce

Directions

  1. Season lamb chops with plain or garlic salt and pepper.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan; simmer 10 minutes. Cool and pour over seasoned lamb chops, turning chops, several times.

  3. Refrigerate, covered, 12 to 24 hours. Remove meat from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Cook over hot coals, turning often, using liberal amount of marinade for basting.
