A mangroli staple

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chick pea flour (chana nu lout)
  • pinch of rye
  • pinch of hing
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons kothmir

Directions

  1. 1) heat oil

  2. 2) sprinkle hing

  3. 3) saute vegetables if you have any

  4. 4) pour water and bring to a boil

  5. 5) remove 1/3 cup water and place on the side

  6. 6) pour in chick pea flour and remove from heat

  7. 7) stir vigourously to remove knots

  8. 8) pour in remaining masala water and stir for softness

  9. 9) sprinkle kothmir and Enjoy!
