Basil and Walnut Pesto

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Place all items in food processor and puree until creamy and well blended. Place in proper airtight container and refrigerate.

  2. Note: Pesto can be stored in an air tight container in your refrigerator for several days.
